Kit Danforth’s Adventures: Now on Substack

I’m excited to be on Substack! Currently free, for all.

Welcome to Kit Danforth’s Adventures – for those who enjoy myth, magic, and mystery and would like to explore what it means when authors “talk story”.

What to expect? This account features joy and upbeat reflections on the creative life. Every week, I will write about my heroes, classics, new work, poetry, film, live events, and podcasts. My words will explore how imagination can set us free and open our hearts and minds to new possibilities.

What I will be writing about –

The Craft of Storytelling

Inspiration

Art - Past and Present

Magic for You and Me

Imagination

Here, I invite you behind the scenes to look at my early promptings in my life, how I knew I wanted to become a writer, and the serendipitous and sometimes amusing details of my process. I’ll share how I develop characters, choose book covers, outline, and go off-grid as the muse demands.

About me – I am an award-winning novelist, playwright, screenwriter, and poet. I write in different mediums - novels, plays, screenplays, and poetry. My books center on epic fantasy, mystery, and historical fiction. I own a publishing company and am always working on the next novels in line for release.

My pages will offer a fun exploration of inspiration and imagination. Being part of a community curious about creative endeavors is my dream come true, because I believe we are all creators, and making time to share that world keeps me inspired.

Until next time, Kit Danforth
